Served at Grill & Dining G, the hotel’s 12th-floor restaurant, the dessert is designed as a cooling accompaniment to the panoramic views of the surrounding lake during the height of the summer season.

The dessert is presented at the hotel’s signature dining venue, where the elevated position provides a wide perspective of Lake Biwa. This seasonal offering focuses on the balance between the natural sweetness of summer fruit and the refreshing acidity of citrus, served in a presentation that emphasizes texture and temperature.

Local Shiga Flavors and Elegant Textures
The dish utilizes jumbo lemons sourced from Higashiomi in Shiga Prefecture, known for their distinct aroma. The composition features layers of fluffy shaved ice, or kakigori, interspersed with succulent white peach and a combination of lemon cream and jelly. It is finished with a topping of rich mascarpone espuma and a peach macaron. Meringue sticks sprinkled with rose petals provide a crisp contrast to the soft layers of ice and cream.

Exclusive Afternoon Tea Pairing
The White Peach and Jumbo Lemon Shaved Ice is available for 2,800 JPY, inclusive of tax and service charges. For guests ordering the Peach Afternoon Tea with Rose Aroma during the same period, a mini version of the shaved ice can be added for an additional 1,000 JPY. Service is provided daily between 11:30 and 17:00.
