Seasonal Shaved Ice and Cocktails at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

High above the Imperial Palace gardens, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi is celebrating the summer season with its “101 Days of Summer” initiative. Running from May 29 to September 6, 2026, the campaign brings together local flavors and modern craftsmanship to provide a cooling sanctuary from the urban heat. The hotel’s top-floor venues, THE LOUNGE, PIGNETO, and VIRTÙ, offer a curated selection of chilled desserts and beverages that reflect the *iki* (chic) atmosphere of the capital.

Elegant Summer Desserts at THE LOUNGE and PIGNETO

Executive Pastry Chef Michele Abbatemarco has designed a range of sweets that blend European pastry techniques with Japanese seasonal traditions. A central highlight is the Peach Melba Kakigori (4,200 yen), available from July 1 to September 6. This interpretation of the French classic combines Japanese shaved ice with fresh peaches, vanilla parfait, and caramelized almonds, balanced by a sharp berry acidity. For those seeking a tea experience, a pairing is available for 5,200 yen.

From August 15, THE LOUNGE also introduces the Mint Chocolate Ice (3,000 yen), which incorporates varied textures of chocolate and oats alongside a fig compote. At the Italian restaurant PIGNETO, guests can find the Cookie Sandwich Gelato (2,100 yen). This treat features almond-based cookies that gradually soften as the gelato melts, creating a evolving texture as it is consumed.

Sophisticated Seasonal Cocktails and Mocktails

The hotel’s beverage program follows the summer theme with artisanal creations designed for the warmer months. At VIRTÙ, the Strawberry Shaved Ice Daiquiri (4,100 yen) is available until August 31. Inspired by the nostalgia of traditional Japanese summer festivals, the cocktail is prepared using an authentic ice-shaving machine to create a fine, snow-like texture.

THE LOUNGE presents “Honey Jade” (3,600 yen) from July 1 to August 31, a vibrant green blend of Champagne, honey wine, and matcha. Additionally, the hotel encourages the traditional custom of wearing *yukata* (traditional summer kimono). Guests who visit THE LOUNGE in *yukata* for the Exotic Summer Afternoon Tea between July 13 and August 31 will receive a complimentary mango and passion fruit frozen mocktail.

The 101 Days of Summer Campaign

The “101 Days of Summer” initiative is a regional celebration across Four Seasons properties in Asia, designed to highlight local craftsmanship and seasonal ingredients. At the Otemachi property, the campaign focuses on the contrast between the dynamic energy of Tokyo and the serene environment of its 39th-floor venues. Whether through the artisanal *kakigori* (shaved ice) or the botanical notes of the seasonal cocktails, the offerings provide a refined way to experience the height of the Japanese summer.
