karaksa hotel Osaka Namba Debuts New Family and Connecting Rooms

karaksa hotel Osaka Namba is set to enhance its group and family offerings through the renovation of 14 guest rooms. Scheduled to debut on July 8, 2026, the update introduces two new room types designed to maximize floor space and flexibility for international travelers visiting Osaka’s central sightseeing district.

New Family Room Configurations

The renovation focuses on two distinct layouts. The “Family Room with Bunk Bed” provides a 20.5㎡ space featuring two 90cm single beds set on a raised wooden platform, supplemented by an upper bunk bed. This configuration accommodates up to three guests and emphasizes a warm, wood-toned aesthetic. Alternatively, the “Family Room with Wide Twin Beds” offers a 20.9㎡ area equipped with two 140cm wide beds, providing a capacity for up to four guests.

Connecting Rooms for Larger Groups

For parties requiring even more space, these new room types can be linked via internal doors. By combining a Family Room with Bunk Bed and a Family Room with Wide Twin Beds, the hotel can host a maximum of seven guests in a single suite-like environment. This addition brings the hotel’s total inventory of connecting rooms to 78, catering to the growing demand for accommodations that allow large families or social groups to stay together while maintaining separate living and sleeping quarters.

Central Access to Osaka Landmarks

Located a seven-minute walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, the property serves as a strategic base for exploring the city. Major attractions including the Dotonbori district and the Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Arcade are within a five-minute walk. The hotel’s proximity to major transit hubs also facilitates day trips to neighboring cultural centers such as Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe via Umeda and Shin-Osaka stations.
