Nanki-Shirahama Marriott Hotel has announced a series of guest-exclusive outdoor dining events for the summer of 2026. The ‘SHIRAHAMA Poolside Grill Dinner’ is designed to provide a relaxed, gathering-style meal on the hotel’s first-floor poolside. As evening falls, the area is illuminated, allowing diners to experience the coastal night breeze of Shirahama in a setting distinct from the hotel’s indoor dining rooms.

A Fusion of Local Flavors and Grilled Specialties
The menu centers on a combination of premium ingredients and regional Wakayama influences. Appetizers include yellowfin tuna marinated in Yuasa soy sauce—a local staple—and a rich foie gras brûlée. The main course consists of a vibrant grill plate featuring U.S. beef sirloin, domestic pork loin, and chicken thigh, accompanied by seafood and seasonal summer vegetables. To complement the grilled items, the hotel serves a dipping sauce made with Kinzanji miso, a specialty of the Wakayama region.

Special Roast Beef Evenings and Beverage Options
The dining plan includes a free-flow beverage service with options such as sparkling wine, whiskey, and various soft drinks. Guests visiting between August 11 and August 14 will be served a special roast beef main dish in place of the standard grill selection. For those seeking a wider variety, an optional drink upgrade is available, adding draft beer and a selection of six cocktails, including Cuba Libres and Mimosas, to the menu.
