Hotel New Otani Osaka has launched “THE BOTANICAL POOL -NIGHT POOL-,” a seasonal outdoor venue that provides a night-time alternative to the summer heat. Located on the fourth floor, the pool offers a view of the illuminated Osaka Castle, creating a distinct backdrop for an evening swim. The environment is restricted to guests aged 18 and older, ensuring a quiet, adult-oriented atmosphere free from daytime UV exposure.
Dining at the Water’s Edge
The poolside restaurant serves a selection of hotel-quality dishes designed for casual dining in swimwear. This season features a trio of signature burgers: the “Pink & Pink” W Beef 100% Smash Cheeseburger, which utilizes a beet-based sauce for its color; the “Green & Green” Avocado and Shrimp Lemon Burger; and the “Bronze & Bronze” Shanghai Grilled Chicken Burger seasoned with black vinegar. Other options include Herb-Crusted Bone-in Chicken Confit and Fresh Spring Rolls garnished with edible flowers.
Evening Access and Seasonal Refreshments
New to the beverage program is the “Colorful Peach Fizz.” These peach-flavored drinks can be customized using glowing coasters to match specific colors, a feature designed for photography against the shimmering water. The night pool is scheduled to remain open until September 23, 2026. Admission is priced at ¥6,000 on weekdays and ¥8,000 on weekends, holidays, and during the mid-August peak period.
