Seaside Spanish BBQ at the Yokohama Grand InterContinental

From July 2 to October 31, 2026, the Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel hosts its signature summer event, “Hama Beer!”, at the Ocean Terrace. Located on the first floor, this outdoor venue offers a “closest to the sea” experience, allowing guests to dine while overlooking the expansive Yokohama Port and the city’s evening illuminations.

This year’s theme brings the flavors of Spain to the Japanese coast. The experience is designed to harmonize the evening breeze of the harbor with a menu of traditional Iberian specialties, served in a setting that captures the transition from sunset to the city’s evening lights.

Interactive Grilling and Authentic Iberian Flavors

The menu features traditional cold starters including gazpacho, pan con tomate, and Spanish tortillas. A central feature of the event is the interactive caldoso—a Spanish seafood risotto prepared by guests at their table grills—and calçots, a Catalan-style grilled green onion dish served with rich romesco sauce.
