Gourmet Sweets and Original Tea Blends

The Sweets Selection is limited to a run of 30 sets, highlighting a collaboration with the Parisian tea house Betjeman & Barton. The set features financiers and pound cakes infused with the hotel’s signature tea blends: Timeless Elegance, which incorporates the scent of Japanese cherry blossoms, and Everlasting Story, a black tea characterized by notes of citrus and chocolate. Complementing these are matcha and plain cookie diamants, crafted to provide a formal tea time experience at home.

Artisanal Tableware Inspired by Station Architecture

The hotel has also introduced the Omotenashi Set, with only 20 sets available. This collection of tableware draws direct inspiration from the station’s iconic architecture. It includes Tokyo Mamezara Saisai plates decorated with indigo patterns and octagonal oak chopsticks modeled after the structural elements of the station’s north and south domes. The set is completed with tin chopstick rests by the historic manufacturer Nousaku, featuring the eagle relief motif found within the dome ceilings of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building.

A Historic Stay in the Heart of Tokyo

Situated within the Marunouchi Building of Tokyo Station, the hotel represents over 100 years of history and is the second oldest existing hotel in the city. Following its reopening in 2012 under a “Classic Luxury” concept, it has continued to offer a blend of European classic decor and *omotenashi* (hospitality). Guests are invited to experience a stay within a living landmark, where the preservation of historic details meets modern international standards.
