Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort marks the brand’s debut in Okinawa and its first beach-resort style location in Japan. Situated at the gateway to the northern “Yanbaru” region, the hotel overlooks the emerald green waters of Nago Bay. Located approximately 60 minutes by car from Naha Airport, the property serves as a base for exploring the natural landscapes of northern Okinawa.

Design Rooted in the Okinawan Spirit

Designed by Kume Sekkei, the resort’s interior seeks to harmonize modern comfort with the local environment. The aesthetic is guided by three core concepts: “Nago Blue,” representing the surrounding sea; “Yanbaru Green,” reflecting the nearby lush forests; and yuimaru, the Okinawan spirit of mutual aid. These elements are woven throughout the public spaces and guest areas to create a sense of place connected to the island’s heritage.
