A Seasonal Celebration of Kyoho and Shine Muscat
As the summer heat begins to fade, the Marunouchi Hotel prepares to welcome the autumn season with a specialized afternoon tea at its signature French restaurant, Pomme d’Adam. Running from September 1 to September 30, 2026, the “Autumn Time with Kyoho and Shine Muscat” experience centers on two of Japan’s most prized grape varieties: the deeply aromatic Kyoho and the crisp, seedless Shine Muscat.

Creative Sweets and French-Inspired Savories
The culinary team at Pomme d’Adam has applied classical French techniques to highlight the fruit’s natural sweetness and texture. The dessert selection includes a Kyoho Victoria cake layered with raspberry jam and Shine Muscat bonbons encased in white chocolate. Traditional tarts and choux pastries are also reimagined with seasonal fruit toppings, offering a study in the different flavor profiles of the two grape varieties.

The savory portion of the menu maintains a French influence, featuring a chilled vichyssoise enhanced with Shine Muscat and a touch of garlic oil. Guests will also find a pâté de grand-mère—a traditional country-style pâté—served with a specialized Pinot Noir mustard. For those seeking an additional course, a mini verrine of Shine Muscat and white wine jelly is available for a supplemental charge of 1,000 yen.

Sophisticated Dining at the Heart of Tokyo
Located on the 8th floor of the Marunouchi Hotel, Pomme d’Adam provides a quiet vantage point overlooking the transit hub of Tokyo Station. The afternoon tea service includes 120 minutes of free-flow beverages, featuring a curated selection of cafe drinks and a seasonal French Muscat iced tea. The setting offers a tranquil retreat for travelers and local diners alike, positioned within walking distance of the city’s primary rail connections.
