A Mysterious Underwater Halloween Experience
ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa has introduced a seasonal collaboration with Notojima Aquarium, transforming its ground-floor lounge into an atmospheric marine world. Running from September 1 to October 31, 2026, the “Afternoon Tea Set ~Notojima Aquarium Halloween Night~” marks the first time the hotel has incorporated a dry ice performance into its tea service, evoking the mist-shrouded environment of an aquarium after dark.
Creature-Inspired Sweets and Savories
The tea stand presents 12 varieties of sweets modeled after the residents of Notojima Aquarium. Guests will find whale sharks, Pacific white-sided dolphins, and spotted seals reimagined in a palette of festive Halloween orange, purple, and black. The sweet selection is balanced by savory offerings prepared by the hotel chef, including a “Halloween Cheese Burger,” a “Black Devil Cake Sale,” and a choice of a warm or cold specialty dish.
Dining with a Purpose
This seasonal offering extends beyond gastronomy to support local marine conservation. For every afternoon tea set sold, ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa will donate 300 JPY to Notojima Aquarium to assist in the care and breeding of its marine life. The experience is available for both in-lounge dining and as a takeout option, allowing guests to enjoy the themed selection in various settings.
