Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe Opens Summer BBQ with Bridge Views

Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe has announced the return of its annual summer Garden BBQ, held on the property’s courtyard terrace. The event offers guests the opportunity to dine outdoors with views of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge as it illuminates against the evening sky over the Akashi Strait.

Scenic Dining Overlooking the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

The barbecue is situated within the hotel’s garden, providing a vantage point for the changing colors of the sunset over the water. The 2026 season includes a pre-opening period from July 18 to July 20, followed by the main schedule running from July 25 through August 30. Guests can observe the landmark bridge and the coastal scenery of the Akashi Strait throughout the 120-minute dining session.

Premium Japanese Beef and Seafood Selection

The menu highlights high-quality meats and local maritime ingredients. The Standard Plan includes 150g of domestic beef and pork loin, while the Premium Plan features Japanese Black Wagyu (kuroge wagyu). Both plans are accompanied by a seafood selection including spear squid, octopus, shrimp, and scallops, as well as grilled rice balls and seasonal vegetables for the grill.

Family-Friendly Summer Buffets

Designed for all generations, the event includes a dedicated Kids BBQ plan featuring child-friendly favorites such as stewed hamburger steak, macaroni gratin, and kids’ curry rice alongside domestic beef. Each plan grants access to a comprehensive buffet board featuring various side dishes and desserts. Optional 120-minute free-flow drink packages are available for both alcoholic and soft drinks.

The garden barbecue operates from 18:00 to 21:00, with the last order for food taken at 20:00. Prices include tax and service charges, and reservations are subject to a two-hour time limit to ensure all guests can enjoy the terrace atmosphere.
