The Strings Hotel Tokyo Intercontinental has announced its seasonal dessert menu for the 2026 autumn season, featuring two parfaits that pair seasonal fruits with aromatic Japanese teas. Autumn Fruit and Tea Pairings

The autumn collection focuses on the synergy between fresh fruit and the nuanced profiles of tea. Guests can order the “Shine Muscat & Green Tea” or “Fig & Hojicha” parfaits individually for 4,180 yen, or opt for the “Duo Parfait” set at 7,700 yen, which includes both varieties. These desserts are designed to reflect the deepening colors and flavors of the season, served in a setting that overlooks the Tokyo skyline.

Seasonal Flavor Profiles

The Shine Muscat & Green Tea parfait utilizes fresh grapes alongside Muscat-scented green tea ice cream and jelly. The layers include panna cotta, candy, and meringue, balancing the natural sweetness of the fruit with the gentle bitterness of the tea. This combination offers a clean, refreshing profile suited to the early autumn months.

Sophisticated Atmosphere Above Shinagawa

The Fig & Hojicha parfait presents figs in both fresh and roasted forms to highlight their deep sweetness. This variety incorporates the toasted aroma of hojicha (roasted green tea) through jelly and ice cream, complemented by smooth caramel custard and chantilly cream. The result is a richer, more robust dessert that echoes the transition into late autumn.

Located on the 26th floor and directly connected to Shinagawa Station, Cafe & Bar Rhythmos provides a dramatic backdrop for these seasonal offerings. The venue features a seven-story high open atrium, allowing guests to enjoy the layered desserts in an airy environment. Optional additions are available to enhance the experience, including colorful mocktails or a side of truffle-flavored french fries for those desiring a savory accompaniment.
