Autumn Grapes and Moonlit Sweets at Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay

Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay has announced its autumn dessert menu, focusing on the seasonal transition through premium regional produce and traditional Japanese themes. Available from September 15 to November 5, 2026, the offerings highlight the harvest of Yamanashi Prefecture and the cultural tradition of tsukimi, or moon viewing.

Premium Grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture

The Yamanashi Prefecture Shine Muscat and Sunshine Red Parfait utilizes fruit delivered directly from regional farms. The construction begins with a base of pomegranate and rosé wine jelly, layered with Kyoho grape sauce, chocolate crunch, and grape ice cream. The presentation is finished with a petit gateau topped with white chocolate petals and fresh grape halves, offering a balance of floral fragrance and concentrated fruit sweetness.

Moonlit Night Salted Caramel Pancakes

Inspired by the tsukimi tradition, the Moonlit Night Salted Caramel Pancake features chestnut-flavored cakes layered with custard and crisp pie crust. The dessert is topped with salted caramel chantilly and a chocolate dome representing the full moon. Inside the dome, caramelized pear and burnt butter salted caramel ice cream are hidden from view. The experience concludes with the pouring of a warm hazelnut praline and chocolate sauce, which melts the chocolate moon to reveal the ingredients within.

Distinctive Lounge Venues

These seasonal desserts are served in two of the hotel’s primary social spaces. The New York Lounge provides a glamorous setting characterized by plush sofas and a dedicated dessert atelier. Alternatively, the Hudson Lounge offers a more open environment with five-meter-high ceilings and a central fireplace, suitable for a relaxed afternoon experience overlooking the bay area.
