LIBERTY Interiors and Cheese-Themed Tea at The Tokyo Station Hotel

The Tokyo Station Hotel, housed within the landmark red-brick station building, has introduced a specialized accommodation and dining experience that blends British design heritage with American-inspired culinary themes. Guests can now book a stay in rooms entirely decorated with fabrics from the British brand LIBERTY, accompanied by a private pink-themed afternoon tea service.

Exclusive LIBERTY Concept Rooms

The hotel offers two distinct guest rooms designed to showcase the aesthetic of LIBERTY. This marks the first instance in Japan where the brand’s design language has been applied to an entire hotel room interior. The HERA room takes its inspiration from the peacock feather, a signature motif of the brand, while the JADE room is decorated with exotic botanical patterns. Both rooms utilize high-quality British fabrics to create a European-classic atmosphere that complements the hotel’s historic architecture.

These rooms are part of a dedicated stay plan that includes a private tea service and a breakfast buffet at The Atrium. The choice of fabrics extends from the curtains and upholstery to decorative cushions, providing a cohesive immersion into the heritage brand’s textile history.

Pink and Cheese Themed Afternoon Tea

Guests staying in the LIBERTY concept rooms receive an in-room “PINK” afternoon tea service. The experience is presented on pink-striped porcelain from the Japanese manufacturer NARUMI. The current menu, available through July 31, 2026, focuses on cheese with American influences. Sweets include a New York Cheesecake made with cream cheese and an American Cherry Pie featuring fromage blanc.

The savory selection follows the same theme, offering a Mac and Cheese gratin and BBQ mini burgers topped with smoked cheese. The tea service is designed to be a private affair, allowing guests to enjoy the culinary offerings within the curated environment of their guest room. The teaware itself is a point of distinction, with pieces specifically commissioned for the hotel.

Casual Dining Option at Bar & Cafe Camellia

For visitors not staying overnight, the “Marunouchi Jikan” Cheese Afternoon Tea is available at Bar & Cafe Camellia. This version features the same cheese-themed menu of sweets and savories, paired with a welcome mocktail and a selection of free-flow teas. Among the tea options is the hotel’s signature “Five O’Clock Tea” blend by Serendipity. This dining plan provides a shorter, two-hour window to experience the seasonal menu in the cafe’s professional setting.
