Retro California Surf Culture in Tokyo Bay

The seasonal transformation brings the aesthetic of 1950s California to the Tokyo Bay waterfront. The lobby serves as the focal point, featuring carefully curated vintage elements such as surfboards and the rear section of a classic American car. This immersive environment is designed to transport guests back to the mid-century era, complemented by a soundtrack of period-appropriate surf music and a specialized concierge desk reflecting the popular Tiki culture of the time.

Classic American Snow Cones and Seaside Treats

The event introduces “Cool Summer Snow Cones” at the Cafeteria, served from a vintage-style wagon inspired by 1950s boardwalk vendors. Available from 18:00 to 23:00, these colorful treats come in five flavors, including Grape & Orange and Blue Raspberry. Additionally, from July 1 to August 31, the “1955 Seaside Cafe” offers a customizable summer sweets plate and free-flow soft drinks during the afternoon, providing a dedicated space for seasonal refreshments.

Featuring sand-patterned flooring, retro parasols, and beach chairs, this ocean-view area allows guests to enjoy a seaside atmosphere in air-conditioned comfort. It provides a relaxing communal space for guests to unwind and enjoy the changing coastal scenery after a day at the nearby theme parks, maintaining the summer vacation theme regardless of the outdoor temperature.
