The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome has introduced its renovated 38th-floor Executive Floor, occupying the top level of the property in the Shinbashi-Shiodome area. With access to five transit lines, the hotel serves as a central hub for international travelers, now offering a dedicated environment designed to showcase the Tokyo skyline. The renovation provides a new perspective on the city, with views extending from Tokyo Tower to the Hamarikyu Gardens and the waterfront district.

Design Concept: Prism and Reflection
The design of the new floor revolves around the concept of “Prism & Reflection,” a theme that utilizes light and transparency to integrate the city’s nocturnal landscape with the interior. Glass walls, mirrored iron bars, and reflective tea tables are positioned to bounce urban lights throughout the rooms. To enhance this visual experience, windows are framed in a “rich black” finish, creating a “Framing Tokyo” effect that treats the exterior landscape as a composed piece of art.

The interior palettes vary by room type to complement their specific views. Rooms facing the waterfront feature a minimalist monotone color scheme, while residence-style suites utilize warm beige and natural wood tones. This balance of artificial and natural materials is intended to provide a sense of comfort within the urban setting.

Exclusive Lounge and Culinary Offerings
Guests staying on the Executive Floor have access to a private 54-seat lounge equipped with high-end audio systems and panoramic city views. The lounge serves a variety of curated culinary offerings throughout the day, beginning with a breakfast buffet that includes Wagyu beef omelets and galettes.

During refreshment hours, guests can sample Seppuku Monaka (a traditional bean-filled wafer from the local Shinbashi area), while the evening cocktail hour features free-flow champagne and wine against the backdrop of the illuminated city.
Residence Suites and Specialized Amenities
The floor includes suites designed for longer stays, equipped with kitchenettes to provide a residence-style experience. These suites prioritize a sense of warmth through their material choices and layout, providing a contrast to the high-rise environment.

For relaxation, certain double rooms feature specialized bathroom installations, including the Utase-yu (a gravity-fed waterfall shower). This feature is designed to allow guests to unwind while maintaining a view of the city lights through the guest room windows.
