Tokyo Meets Hawaii 2026: The Pink Palace Returns to Kioicho

From July 1 to August 31, 2026, The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will host “TOKYO MEETS HAWAII 2026.” This seasonal collaboration with The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, Waikiki—familiarly known as the “Pink Palace of the Pacific”—reinterprets the atmosphere of the historic Hawaiian landmark within a contemporary high-rise setting. The event features a menu curated from original recipes used at the resort’s celebrated venues, including the beachfront Mai Tai Bar and the signature dining room, Azure.

Classic Hawaiian Afternoon Tea and Lunch

The “Classic Hawaiian Afternoon Tea” serves as the centerpiece of the collaboration, offering a collection of sweets that mirror the aesthetic of the Pink Palace. Highlights include the Pink Palace Haupia Cake and a Guava Cake, paired with savories such as Garlic Shrimp and Pink Loco Moco Burgers. For those seeking a mid-day meal, the Hawaiian Lunch Course offers a choice of four main dishes based on recipes from Azure and the Mai Tai Bar, with options including Lobster Azure Style and Pineapple BBQ Chicken Wings.

New Dinner Course and Signature Island Flavors

New for the 2026 edition is a dedicated dinner course featuring prefix menu items from Azure, the Royal Hawaiian’s main dining room. The course includes specialized recipes for aged beef and risotto, bringing the resort’s evening dining experience to Tokyo. Additionally, the Ahi Katsu Sand, a new menu item from the Mai Tai Bar, makes its debut as an a la carte option alongside the signature Pink Palace Pancakes, which are available from morning until night.

Breakfast and Tropical Cocktails

The collaboration extends to the morning hours with the Short Rib Benedict, a favorite from the Surf Lanai restaurant in Waikiki, served as part of the buffet-style breakfast. At the Sky Gallery Lounge Levita, guests can find a selection of signature cocktails, including the Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai and the Chunky Monkey smoothie. These offerings are designed to provide a cohesive tropical experience that spans the entire day, set against the backdrop of the Tokyo skyline.
