Effective July 1, 2026, the update encompasses a redesigned service flow for the Club Lounge UMIKAJI, upgraded in-room amenities, and a dual-access breakfast system designed to provide greater flexibility for long-stay guests.
A Temporal Approach to the Club Lounge
The Club Lounge UMIKAJI is transitioning to a service model defined by four distinct temporal phases: Morning, Day, Sunset, and Night. This restructuring aims to align the lounge atmosphere with the natural progression of the day. During the Day Lounge phase, the hotel will introduce an afternoon tea service featuring local specialties from Ginowan City. These include award-winning cornets from PiPPi and gluten-free donuts from HYGGE okinawa, grounding the international resort experience in the local community’s gastronomy.
Culinary Flexibility and Regional Flavors
A significant addition to the Club Floor privileges is the “Dual Breakfast” system. Guests may now choose between a light morning meal at the Club Lounge or a full buffet at All Day Dining Jinon. The lounge’s morning menu, curated by Executive Chef Kazufumi Sakaguchi, has been expanded to include washoku (Japanese cuisine) and Okinawan soul food. For those seeking a more extensive selection, the 220-seat Jinon restaurant offers a spacious environment to sample a wide array of regional flavors, providing variety for those on multi-night itineraries.
Tactile Enhancements and In-Room Wellness
The refinement extends to the private quarters, where all Club Floor guest rooms will be outfitted with new linens crafted from 100% extra-long staple cotton. The 400-thread count satin weave is selected for its smooth texture and breathability. To further enhance the bathing experience, rooms will now feature ReFa FINE BUBBLE shower heads, which utilize fine bubble technology. These updates, paired with the existing access to the high-floor infinity pool, are intended to provide a more detailed level of comfort within the resort environment.
