From July 1 to August 31, 2026, the Marunouchi Hotel will host the “Marunouchi Honey and Peach Tea Time” at its eighth-floor French restaurant, Pomme d’Adam. This seasonal event highlights Marunouchi Honey, a rare product of an urban beekeeping project located near the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park. The honey is noted for its floral aroma and refreshing mint-like finish, providing a local counterpoint to premium peaches sourced from Koori Town in Fukushima Prefecture.

A Fusion of Tokyo Urban Honey and Imperial-Grade Peaches
The Marunouchi Honey Project, launched in 2016, aims to promote urban biodiversity and community connection through sustainable beekeeping in the capital. This limited-time menu pairs the project’s harvest with peaches from Koori Town, a region recognized for its long-standing tradition of presenting its fruit to the Imperial Family. The combination brings together two distinct Japanese terroirs—the manicured gardens of central Tokyo and the historic orchards of Fukushima.

Seasonal Sweets and Savories at Pomme d’Adam
The menu features a selection of sweets designed to showcase the delicate flavors of the fruit and honey. Highlights include a peach and honey jasmine roll, peach clafoutis, and a peach and honey mousse. The savory offerings provide a balanced contrast, featuring a chilled peach and potato soup accented with mint, and smoked duck served with a peach and red wine gastrique. Guests are also served scones accompanied by Marunouchi Honey and can choose from a 120-minute free-flow drink selection.

For those seeking an extended dessert experience, a “Peach Melba Parfait Style” is available for an additional fee. This dish layers fresh fruit with vanilla ice cream and lemon jelly, offering a cooling finish to the summer service.

A Century of Hospitality Overlooking Tokyo Station
Located directly across from Tokyo Station, the Marunouchi Hotel recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The venue for the tea service, Pomme d’Adam, is positioned high above the city bustle, offering a tranquil atmosphere for guests. This collaboration reflects the hotel’s ongoing commitment to local sustainability and the celebration of regional Japanese produce within a central urban setting.
