From July 6, 2026, Atmos Italian Dining at Conrad Osaka invites guests to experience the “La Dolce Vita” (the sweet life) theme through its summer-exclusive buffet. Situated 200 meters above the city on the hotel’s 40th floor, the menu focuses on the traditional soul food of Sicily and Southern Italy, regions recognized as prominent European summer destinations. The experience is designed to reflect the flavors and social atmosphere of the sun-drenched Mediterranean.
A Taste of the Southern Italian Lifestyle
The buffet selection draws inspiration from the coastal regions of Italy, emphasizing fresh ingredients and traditional preparation methods. Guests can sample a variety of appetizers that showcase regional diversity, from the citrus-inflected salads of the Sicilian coast to the robust flavors of the mainland south.
Regional Specialities and Heritage Ingredients
Executive Chef Tomoki Yamada has curated a menu that celebrates heritage ingredients and modern interpretations of classics. Highlights include appetizers featuring Sicilian Marsala wine, a Pantelleria-style potato salad, and fregula—a toasted semolina pasta—served with seafood in the Sardinian style. Other featured dishes include charcoal-grilled bonito with lemon vinaigrette and a Sardinian-Catalan style seafood salad with olives and tomatoes.
Weekday Semi-Buffet and Weekend Options
During weekdays, the restaurant operates a semi-buffet format. Guests select one of five main dishes, such as house-made scialatielli pasta with basil and lemon or Sicilian-style herb-crusted swordfish. On weekends and public holidays, the venue transitions to a full buffet experience. This expanded offering includes a carving station with porchetta and domestic beef tagliata, alongside a dessert station featuring Sicilian favorites like cannoli and cassata.
A special buffet schedule will also be in place during the Obon period from August 11 to August 16, 2026, featuring holiday hours and specific dining durations.
